Max B.
Max B (born Charles Wingate) is a member of Dipset. Struggling through poverty, Max spent seven years in jail starting at the age of eighteen years old for charges ranging from drug possession to armed robbery. During this time, at the suggestion of his good friend J. Chillz, Max spent his days writing rhymes, which paid off upon release in early 2005 when his long time friend, now manager Mike Bruno brought some of his rhymes to fellow Harlem native, Jim Jones who quickly signed the rapper to a two album deal Asylum Records.
